Bookwise is an independent, family run book shop which was founded in 1997. Our first shop opened its doors in the beautiful seaside town of Llandudno in North Wales. We are still trading there today and have built up a large base of return customers who come back to us year after year. We also have another store in the picturesque Welsh village of Betws y Coed which attracts many visitors on their way to Snowdonia. The scenery in the area is truly stunning and the village attracts visitors from all over the world.
We have a dedicated warehouse for our website based in Crewe, Cheshire. It is here where all of the orders are picked and packed.
Our reputation has been built on the great value books that we sell and the eclectic range that we stock. We believe that books should be affordable for all and always sell our products at the lowest prices that we realistically can. Independent booksellers are becoming rarer and rarer but by keeping value at the forefront of what we do, we have been fortunate enough to still compete against the large corporations. We love books and selecting our product ranges is our passion. We might not always stock the latest titles but we hand select some of the best books across the genres at value prices. We often pick hidden gems which may have gone under the radar alongside the more mainstream authors as well. We cover a wide range of topics with a great fiction selection at good prices and also have a strong reputation in more specialist areas such as Transport, incorporating Buses, Railway and Motoring books. Our range is ever changing with new books arriving every week. We are also stockists of Gibsons Jigsaw Puzzles which are great quality puzzles with some fantastic designs.
First and foremost, we can offer great value on a great range of products. But by buying from us you will also be supporting a small British based business who know and love their books.
